Well I just finished my first commission. The doll was Pippi Longstocking crafted for my good friend Maria Digrazia. The shape of the head is a little off but I think there might be something off with either the pattern or the instruction because I have no idea what I did wrong. Her hair and clothes turned out famously. Having her braids stick out was just a simple matter of weaving a pipe-cleaner into her braids.
